Hi, I’m Andrew - a tech geek, CTO and entrepreneur on a mission to transform great tech experts into great leaders.

15+ years ago, I was promoted to a leadership role because I had strong tech skills.

With no support, it was stressful. I didn’t know how to manage my time or projects or delegate work to my team. Building trust and relationships wasn’t even on my radar.

I just wanted to write more code, faster—but that wasn’t the answer. I had to learn leadership skills on my own.

I practiced, made mistakes, and learned from others. My story isn’t unique - I hear it all the time.

It makes sense for companies to promote their best engineers, but leadership requires a whole new skill set - one that’s rarely taught.

That’s why I created Debugging Leadership. I want to help turn great engineers into great leaders by connecting them with experienced tech leaders who can teach the skills needed to succeed. With the right support, the journey can be easier and far more rewarding.
