Conflict can be Unhealthy or Healthy. It’s easy to agree that if there’s too much Unhealthy Conflict in an organisation then new ideas and concepts don’t propagate, but it might be surprising to learn that with too little Healthy Conflict the same can also occur.
This course teaches you how to build a culture of Healthy Conflict in an organisation so we can allow people to discuss their ideas without fear.

Influence is a super skill in leadership. It’s surprising how, the higher you rise in an organisation, the more your success depends on the work other people do instead of your own individual contributions.

I started out writing code using a ZX Spectrum and over the span of my career I went from being a software developer to a manager to a lead and now a Head Geek, Technical Leadership Coach and Public Speaker.
I created debuggingleadership.com because I wished it existed when I first started becoming a leader.
I have learnt so much to get to where I am today and I’m most passionate about sharing my experiences and teaching the skills so technical experts can become better technical leaders.

Originally from the UK but now based in Melbourne, I started out as a software developer, and over the span of 22 years, I have gone on from being a developer, to a manager, a lead, and now as a Group Engineering Manager, public speaker and a technical leadership coach.
